Friesian and Shire riding horses
Riding on Friesian and Shire horses along countless beautiful riding routes, compiled with Staatsbosbeheer. They go through forest, dunes, along cranberry fields and over the beach, with a duration of 2 hours.
4x4 Landrover tour
In the winter months from 1 October to 1 April, a lovely beach ride to the Drenkelingenhuisje or the Amelandergat
Dark Sky with 4x4 Landrover
Experience an impressive evening with your own group. We provide a private 4x4 Landrover excursion to the Drenkelingenhuisje on the Boschplaat, guided by a Puur astronomer. You'll drive through the darkness, across the beach away from all the crowds, to the darkest spot in the Netherlands.
Mudflat hiking and oyster tasting
We'd love to take you out onto the Wadden Sea for 'the feeling I mean'. Together you'll create a lovely memory, walking across the floor of the Wadden Sea. Back home at the Puur farm, we'll finish with a delicious oyster tasting for enthusiasts and those who want to discover the taste of this 'sea jewel'.
Donkey walks
Walking with our gentle donkeys! They carry your picnic basket or your child up to 8 years old. Exploring together with Terschelling's nature.
Driving
Have you always wanted to take the reins yourself? At Puur Terschelling, you can. Under supervision, you'll drive the carriage yourself and experience the island in a unique way: peaceful, natural and close to the horses.
