Easter
Of course, you'll celebrate Easter on Terschelling. Time to enjoy a wonderful stay on the island, a lovely Easter breakfast and hunting for Easter eggs in the island's nature. Because spring on Terschelling is truly beginning now. Nature is coming into bloom and on our Puur farm, many adorable lambs and foals are running about. You may cuddle them, but we offer much more during these Easter days with many more Puur activities for your family, relatives or friends.
Friesian and Shire riding horses
Riding on Friesian and Shire horses over countless beautiful riding routes, compiled with Staatsbosbeheer. They go through forest, dunes, along cranberry fields and over the beach, with a duration of 2 hours.
Easter covered wagon tour
Puur Terschelling organises special Easter tours. We first take a covered wagon ride through the dunes, past cranberry fields, through the forest, along the beach and part of the Boschplaat. Afterwards, it's time to hunt for Easter eggs at the farm. A lovely experience for the children! Who will find the golden egg?
Beach Boschplaat covered wagon tour
A 2.5-hour Strand Boschplaat covered wagon tour. Enjoy a covered wagon ride through forest, dunes, past cranberry fields, over the beach and the Boschplaat.
North Sea covered wagon tour
We travel by covered wagon to the North Sea beach. Pull a drag net together through the channels, over the seabed and catch your own prawns.
Mudflat hiking with oyster tasting
We'd love to take you out onto the Wadden Sea for 'that feeling you know what I mean'. Together you'll create a lovely memory, walking across the seabed of the Wadden Sea. Back home at the Puur farm we'll finish with a delicious oyster tasting for enthusiasts and those who want to discover the taste of mudflat oysters.
Donkey walks
Walking with our gentle donkeys! They'll carry your picnic basket or your child up to 8 years old. Together exploring the Terschellinger countryside.
Mennen
Always wanted to take the reins yourself? At Puur Terschelling you can. Under guidance, you'll drive the carriage yourself and experience the island in a unique way: peaceful, natural and close to the horses.
