Puur Terschelling processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.

Puur Terschelling processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to carry out our services.
- To be able to draw up a possible rental agreement.
- To be able to send you an invoice that complies with legal obligations.
Automated decision-making
Puur Terschelling does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that can have (significant) consequences for individuals. These are decisions made by computer programmes or systems, without human intervention.
How long we retain personal data
Puur Terschelling does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We retain data from our guests for 7 years, which is the retention period of the tax authorities.
Sharing of personal data with third parties
Puur Terschelling only provides data to third parties when this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Cookies, or similar technologies, that we use
Puur Terschelling only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember your preference settings, for example. We can also use them to optimise our website. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. For visitor statistics, we use Google Analytics. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google for this purpose. Data is not shared with third parties and the last three digits of IP numbers are anonymised. We do not use other Google services in combination with the Google Analytics cookies.
View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Puur Terschelling, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organisation you specify.

To ensure that the access request has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Burgerservicenummer (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.
Puur Terschelling would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
How we secure personal data
Puur Terschelling takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. We store your data on a normally secured computer. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please get in touch.
