Enjoy a private mudflat walk with your family, relatives, friends or colleagues! We'd love to take you out onto the mudflats for 'the feeling I mean'. Together you'll create a beautiful memory, walking across the seabed of the Wadden Sea. We'll explore, observe, feel and taste this UNESCO World Heritage site. Our mudflat walking guide will tell you about life on the seabed, the birds and the islanders' traditions. Back home at the Puur farm, we'll finish with a delicious oyster tasting for enthusiasts and those who want to discover the flavour of this 'sea jewel'.
Good to know:
- Included: use of mudflat walking shoes (sizes 25 to 46) or boots (sizes 27 to 50).
- Dogs are not permitted due to disturbance to the birds.
- A back carrier for children up to 18 kg is available for hire.
Puur WAD important:
- Normal health and fitness are required for mudflat walking.
- Suitable footwear can be borrowed from us.
- Clothing advice: layers of clothing that are wind-, water- and sun island-proof.
- Applying suncream is something you can learn.
- Leave valuables at home or pack them waterproof.
- Alcohol is not permitted.
