Watch out... Once you've sat on a warm horse's back, you might never want anything else! Why is bareback riding so wonderful? Firstly because our Friesians are incredibly comfortable to sit on. They're broad, soft and calm; ideal horses for leaving the saddle at home. Moreover, you'll learn an enormous amount from bareback riding. It's good for your posture, feel and balance. You'll learn to make better contact with your horse and discover how much influence your seat has on the way the horse behaves.
A minimum of 5 years of weekly lessons is required to go out bareback.
During this outdoor ride, you'll not only enjoy the island's nature and beach. You'll take a fresh look at your own riding style and the way you interact with your horse. For the best experience, we ride with a group of maximum 3 people. The ride is only suitable for advanced riders who have their horse under control at walk and trot.
