Every year throughout the Netherlands, attention is given to darkness. The Night of the Night is celebrated in various places with unique events. Puur Terschelling offers an unforgettable experience. On Friday 23rd October and Saturday 24th October 2026, we're organising a special covered wagon tour to the darkest spot on the island: the Boschplaat. In 2015, this nature reserve was awarded the prestigious Dark Sky Park designation.
Adrie Warmenhoven, astronomer and director of the Eise Eisinga Planetarium in Franeker, will join us and give a fascinating star presentation afterwards. This is something you absolutely must experience!
