We'll drive to Paal 23,8, the Drenkelingenhuisje 'Húske op de hoek' and the Boschplaat. In the past, the Drenkelingenhuisje served as a refuge for stranded shipwreck survivors. It's situated on a beautiful sandy plain that remains in constant motion thanks to the ebb and flow of the tides. Terschelling has the widest beach in the Netherlands and even one of the widest beaches in Western Europe. During this trip, we'll also take part in a Terschelling tradition: beachcombing! There's always something beautiful to be found that the sea gives up.
